The Royal Hotel

The Hougomont Lodge is on the ground floor and benefits from it’s own front door. This gives you chance to have your own separate accommodation, with the facilities of the hotel right next door. There is a ramp to the door and the room is fitted with aids for people with disabilities including a wet room. Outside, there is a disabled parking bay meaning easy access from car to room* This room can be set as either a twin or super king double bed.
The Lodge also benefits from air conditioning.

All double rooms have baths with showers.  Double rooms have either side or rear views.  Double rooms are located on the first and second floors.  The hotel does not offer a lift however assistance with luggage is available

Our family rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 3 people but we also have some inter-locking rooms. The rooms have many features to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Depending on the room chosen, we can have the options of up to 4 single beds in one room or a mixture of beds including quality “Z-Bed” style, sofa beds and twin or superking beds. Our rooms are fitted with 1000 pocket sprung plus memory foam tops

Our basic single room is a small single room featuring a single bed and ensuite bathroom with step in shower. All rooms come with en-suite facilities and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Our basic single room has amazing views overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary, with views of the Wirral & North Wales in the distance.  Located on 2nd Floor.  The Hotel does not offer a lift but assistance with luggage is available

Our Seaview double zip rooms have great views over the Marine Lake, Mersey Estuary and views to the Welsh mountains beyond.  Rooms can be set as either a superking double bed or 2 single beds.  Please let us know how you would like the room to be set up in advance.  Seaview Double Zip rooms are located on the first and second floors.  The hotel does not offer a lift however assistance with luggage is available
