About Us
We are a Restaurant, Bar & Function Room.
On the Ground Floor, is our Bar & Restaurant. On the First floor is our Blundell Room.
In the bar, we serve a range of beers, wines & spirits. We also serve our Bar Meals Menu which features 2 meals for £10 on selected items. We pride ourselves on home cooked food, unlike some chain pubs who use ready meals.
Our Restaurant on the ground floor serves a set price menu. Bookings are preferred.
The Blundell Room on the First floor is our function room. The room is available to hire with our catering. We regret we do not hire the room on its own for evenings. The Blundell Room is also available for Family functions including Weddings & Funerals
The Blundell Room is also used for our Salsa Classes, Quiz Night & our dinner & live entertainment Cabaret Nights. We also serve our Sunday Carvery in the Blundell Room.
We can cater for Weddings (day and/or nightime) up to 150 persons, Funerals, Christenings on a Sunday up to 50 persons, Birthdays, Get Togethers, Meals in our restaurant, Any function with catering up to 150 persons. We can also cater for conferences, meetings & presentations. We do NOT cater for 18th Birthday parties or any party where there is a high level of people under 18. We do not Hire the Blundell Room without our own catering. We do not hire the blundell room where the hirer intends to sell tickets or charge admission unless prior consent is given by Barbacoa. If in doubt, please contact us to discuss your requirment
Our own catering in the Blundell Room can be anything from a small buffet to a full sit down meal.
ACCESS STATEMENT
Entrance to Barbacoa is by 2 steps to the front entrance. Alternatively, we have a ramp leading to a Fire Exit door which is suitable for wheelchair users. Once inside, the ground floor is fully accessible to the Restaurant & Bar areas. A disabled toilet is located on the ground floor suitable for wheelchair users.
Access to the First Floor Blundell Room (Functions & Cabaret Dinners etc) is via a staircase. We have a chair lift on the rear staircase. Users must be able to either walk to the chair lift or be able to move from a wheelchair to the chairlift.
We also have large print restaurant menus for those with sight challenges.
